Just to show you how much thought I actually put into these backgrounds sometimes:
I needed something to match that rose, so I drew some red lines in the background, some of them might form a pyramid (so Red Pyramid, yes? also dead and stuff). And to balance the background a bit more with some slightly blue-ish green. So when I scanned this just now I realized that those are the colours our school is painted in (white, red, fucked-up green)...I now wonder if my subconsciousness wants to tell me that my school only makes me think of somewhat depressing things.
